So, as you all might know I’ve been busy with moving house and all the problems that come with it. Today’s finally the day my room’s looking a little less like a war zone and a little more like an inhabitable rectangle. This calls for some tending to this much abused and neglected web space.

fun with acrylic
I finally gave in to my co-worker’s beseeching and allowed her to give me a sculptured acrylic extension.
It’s really pretty but completely unpractical and awkward. It’s sooo long. Mine was only extended till the 2nd marking; and there’re 7 markings altogether. Not something I’d consider going for again unless I get rich and idle.

Remember the trendy wig craze that took Japan by storm earlier this year? Spotted these literal HAIR bands at far east plaza the other day going for a good price. They come in a full loop with black elastic for the part that sits at the back of your head. Did some DIY of my own and thus – comfy, easytoputon hairbands. (:
And contrary to what I thought, the cheapest ever express manicure is not $5. You can get them for a smashing $4 @ Far East Plaza, top floor.

I need a short rant about the most embarrassing thing ever.
Basically I went up to a GROUP of total strangers and asked them where they got their dollfie from. The question itself came out in the most dumb ass way ever that I shall not quote here to spare me eternal misery. I sounded like a total geek bimbo (okay wait that is not even possible). AHA. What was worse was that the main girl I asked looked at me the way one might glare at pesky pleasedomy survey type of guy. AHHH. Although she may not have meant it and she may have been just shocked I popped out from nowhere in the stupid red uniform carrying red takeaway food bags, ahhhhhh. I don’t know what came over me.
I guess it’s one of those things you know you’ll regret not doing but actually regret when done.
I feel like a possessed freak show. Addiction, no matter what form it takes, sure makes you do bloody crazy things.
Just so you know, that dollfie was HOT. I want a daughter like that.

The number of places for overseas applicants is mind-blowing-ly minuscule. With hindsight, NUS dent. was probably the easiest of the lot. UK sigh. An average cut off about 600 for the ukcat/ compulsory 30-40 minute interviews/ compulsory work experience/ gap years are advised. Talk about stiff competition. I’d rather do PSLE hundred times over.
It’s like the war hasn’t even started and I’ve already lost. Not that it sucks losing (I’ve already has so much practice with that) – despair is a bitch.
I guess the only way to go about it level headedly is by accepting the fact you’re a doomed dead gonner whee.
